Rick has been climbing in the greater ranges of Asia for over 25 years, pioneering a number of difficult new routes on major peaks. He successfully led four clients to the summit of Everest in 2000. Rick has followed in the footsteps of early explorers in the Pamir and is very much at home in the mountains of Central Asia.
Ruslan graduated in oriental studies in Tajikistan and pursued his education in Britain before becoming a full time tour guide. He is steeped in the history and culture of his homeland, has led tours across Tajikistan for 7 years and is the company’s principal guide.
Zuhra is Rick’s wife and runs the company guest house in Dushanbe. She and her staff will do their best to make you feel at home.
Between us we speak English, Russian, French, Tajik, Uzbek, Farsi and Arabic.
